White Supremacists Concerned Upcoming Wolfenstein Game May Damage Their Reputation

Local white supremacist gaming groups have come out swinging against Wolfenstein: The New Colossus, announced this week at the massive E3 2017 conference in Los Angeles.

In The New Colossus, protagonist B.J. Blazkowicz returns to his home country of the United States, which has been overrun by Nazis and must be cleansed. Early screenshots of the game show Nazi officers being friendly with Klu Klux Klan members, which has upset some local white supremacists who feel the comparison may “reflect badly” on them.

“We’re used to the liberal media forcing progressive narratives down our throats, but this is political correctness spiralling absolutely out of control,” confirmed vlogger and YouTuber ‘Skeptical Quantum of Reason Gaming’.

“People are going to watch this and they’re going to think that being a murderous white supremacist is something to be ashamed of. Children are going to be taught that. Can you imagine?”

“Now I’m as concerned about the future of the white race as any true patriot is, and sure, I go to rallies wearing Nazi symbology, and I want to exterminate everyone who isn’t white, but let me ask you this — do I want to exterminate the Jews as well? Well, yes, I do.”

“But I’m not a Nazi about it,” he added, hastily.

Other white supremacist and alt-right commentators have raised concerns about The New Colossus, with YouTuber ‘Rational Alpha Imperium’ speaking out about how the idea of slaughtering “pure-blooded, white, European” enemy soldiers made him “deeply uncomfortable”.

“Making the hordes of enemies exclusively white, and then asking me to slaughter them in huge amounts…  can’t they see how the race of an enemy could reflect on the message the game sends? By making the enemies in Wolfenstein white, MachineGames has politicised the murder and violence in a dangerous way. This is unacceptable now.”
